(4/4) Panel Builder Series - Feeder and Branch Circuit Design

Learn the basics for selecting Feeder & Motor Branch Circuit protection devices for US Industrial Control Panels. This workshop first introduces attendees to the requirements according to US electrical standards for Feeder & Motor Branch Circuits. It will then show the step-by-step process used to determine components to meet those standards. Next, we will cover the impact of component selection based on the available supply voltage and required SCCR. Attendees will also be shown several ways to improve their solution for both OEM / Panel shops and End Users. The workshop includes a hands-on exercise where attendees will select the components for 2 motor branch circuits, components to enhance their design and the feeder protective device using provided hardware and documentation.
