Designed with pre-fabrication operations in mind, Encore Wire's new Mega Coil®; pulls clean and easy while keeping its shape throughout its use. More Wire, Smaller Footprint: Encore Wire's new Mega Coil® provides more footage compared to traditional packaging methods. With longer put-ups over a Gaylord, there's less packaging and less set up required, while saving premium floor space.

  1. Stacking two Mega Coils® compared to a single Gaylord solution equates to 2.5x more footage (Calculated values compared to traditional Gaylord footage.) in a single pallet position compared to traditional packaging, maximizing space and reducing material handling when storing and maneuvering.

  2. Achieve longer pulls for those large MC jobs, plus achieve more cuts per set-up while reducing wire scrap at prefabrication facilities or distribution warehouses.


Environmental Responsibility: The Mega Coil® contains more footage, decreasing the amount of wire scrap. Plus the new packaging produces less waste compared to other packaging methods.


1) Cut Bands - Snip green bands halfway down the exterior side of the coil. Leave shrink wrap in tact.


2) Small Cut - Cut a small hole through center hole sticker at the top of the coil. Hole should be no larger than your hand.

3) Remove Bands - Reach inside the hole and remove green bands from the inside wall of the coil.


4) Pull From Center - For optimal results, pull cable up (vertically) and then out (horizontally).

NOTE: LEAVE SHRINK WRAP AROUND MEGA COIL®

Shrink wrap should stay intact in order to maintain the integrity of the packaging, allowing for a clean pull.
