RE: Power-Flo Technologies, Inc. Acquires Summit Industries, Inc.
I am Jerry DiCunzolo, CEO of Power-Flo Technologies, Inc., based in New Hyde Park, NY. I am pleased to share that, together with Ken Detmer, Summit Industries is now officially part of Power-Flo Technologies.
This merger gives Ken and the Summit team the support to continue building on what they have started, with the resources of Power-Flo behind them. We have many plans for expansion including a new, larger facility, additional sales personnel, and more value-added products and services. Ken is staying on and will continue to lead the Summit team.
Since 1969, Summit Industries has been a trusted name in automation, controls, and compressed air across Southern Ohio and Northern Kentucky. That history, and the people behind it, are a big part of why this is such a good fit. Like Summit, Power-Flo is a family-run business at heart, and that approach is not changing.
Summit will have the full reach of Power-Flo Technologies, a family of distributors, fabricators, manufacturers, and motor and pump repair firms with 12 state-of-the-art facilities and nearly 300 employees across the Northeast and Midwest. As a Master Distributor and Manufacturers Representative, Power-Flo provides real system solutions in electrical distribution, automation, motor and pump systems, and custom panel and switchgear, backed by expert engineering support. Our customers span the electrical, institutional, MRO and OEM industrial markets, as well as the plumbing and mechanical trades, and that same depth of expertise and resources will support the relationships Summit has built over the years.
Effective today, October 1, 2026, Summit Industries is now part of Power-Flo Technologies. We are excited about the road ahead and grateful for the trust you have placed in Summit.
