Available in two housing sizes, the KAI boasts field adjustable wattage and CCT settings that let the user dial in the perfect light output for municipal, DOT, and streetlighting applications without stocking multiple SKUs. Switching distribution is as easy as flipping open the lens to swap out 2T, 3T, or 4T optics.

Install it once, install it right.

The adjustable mount offers five tilt positions (-5° /-2.5° /0° /2.5° /5°), making it easy to compensate for crooked poles and ensure proper light distribution and full cutoff. With flexible mounting options for 1 1/2" to 2 3/8" pipe arms, and optional mounting clamps fitting from 1" to 1 1/4" pipes, installation is straightforward on virtually any pole configuration. Making KAI a great traditional Cobra head replacement.

Interchangeable optics system.

Easily adapt to roadway requirements with field-swappable optics that let the user quickly switch between Type II, III, IV distributions. Simply flip down the housing and change the lens! Perfect for Utilities with multiple distribution requirements.

Lightcloud: Smart lighting ready.

Ready to add intelligence to roadway lighting? The KAI is available with Lightcloud Blue sensor capability (passive infrared or microwave) that integrates seamlessly with RAB's wireless lighting control system. Its 7-pin receptacle also makes it compatible with standard twistlock photocells as well as RAB's smart Lightcloud version, making KAI a future-proof investment that can grow with smart city initiatives.
