Eco-Friendly Solutions for Enclosures and Machines

Fans, filter fans, air/air heat exchangers

Ambient air cooling units are ideal for dissipating heating loads exceptionally cost-effectively. Condition: The ambient air must be relatively clean and at temperatures below the required enclosure internal temperature.

  • Filter fan, roof-mounted fan, rack-mounted fan: Fan-and-filter units and roof-mounted fans for efficient cooling of enclosures. Available with EMC shielding and EC technology for greater efficiency thanks to IoT capability thanks to IoT capability. Rack-mounted fans for installation in the 19" level.

  • Air-Air Heat Exchangers: Heat exchanger with two separate air circuits to prevent the ingress of dust into the enclosure. Cooling output from 17.5 W/K - 90 W/K. The temperature difference between the internal and external circuit will have a decisive effect on the amount of heat loss that may be dissipated.


Cooling units, thermoelectric coolers


With cooling units, the temperature inside the enclosure is kept at a constant level independent of the ambient temperature. The air flow meets individual requirements. Due to two separate circuits, no dust penetrates into the enclosure.



Air-water heat exchangers, chillers

Efficient liquid cooling may be used in all situations where a high cooling load is required, such as process and machine cooling or when dissipating heat loss from enclosures via air/water heat exchangers.

  • Chillers: Centralized, efficient cooling and supply of the cooling medium (generally water). Chillers are used for particularly high heat loads. A single pipeline system takes care of all cooling tasks on the system or machine. Cooling output 1 kW - 48 kW. Cooling output 1 - 6kW, also available in energy-efficient Blue e+ technology.

  • Air-Water Heat Exchangers: Air/water heat exchanger for wall and roof mounting or integrated into the VX25 baying enclosure system. Ideal for use in harsh environments. Available in HD version for hygiene-sensitive product ranges.


IT Cooling Solutions

Climate control concepts from Rittal cover the full spectrum of applications, from cooling a single rack through to entire data centers. In this case, the focus is on safety and efficiency.

  • Liquid Cooling Package: CW LCP: Extremely high heat loads are dissipated from IT racks via air/water heat exchangers. DX LCP: Ideal for cooling of small and medium-sized IT applications.

  • Liquid Cooling Units: Efficient cooling of VX IT racks and Micro Data Centers with no loss of space. Optimum support of IT-compliant "front-to-back" air routing. High fail safe thanks to availability of single and redundant versions.

  • Small Cooling Units: Active and passive components for cooling individual IT racks.

  • IT room cooling: Reliable and energy-efficient room cooling for data centers with the highest level of precision and reliability. CyberAir 3PRO CW, CyberAir 3PRO DX and CyberAir Mini CW room cooling systems from the Stulz portfolio.

  • Chillers for IT-Cooling: Dependable cooling for IT applications such as LCP or air/water heat exchangers or for project-specific requirements.

  • Accessories for IT Cooling: Suitable accessories for Blue e+ cooling units, LCP CW and LCP DX applications.

  • Roof-mounted Blue e+ IT cooling unit and Wall-mounted cooling unit Blue e+ IT: Through the use of the Blue e+ technology, the bundle is ideally suited to the requirements for energy-efficient cooling of IT racks. In combination with the IoT interfaces, it supports communication to various systems as well as monitoring and energy management.

Heaters

Heating systems ensure that the correct heating capacity is always available to avoid condensate formation, particularly when installed outside.




Outdoor Applications

Function and safety - in any weather. Rittal's outdoor air conditioning solutions are perfectly suited for outdoor use. Fan-and-filter units with hose-proof hoods, heaters and Blue e+ chillers with the corresponding "Outdoor" option may now be used in addition to Rittal's exceptionally energy-efficient cooling units.

  • Blue e+ filter fan: Complete fan unit for tool-free mounting on surfaces. Air throughput from 11 - 682.75 cfm, protection category IP 54 as standard.

  • Blue e+ filter with EC technology: The energy-efficient design with EC technology is characterized not only by its first-time IoT capability. The Blue e+ filter fan also opens the door to many other advantages - from energy efficiency to monitoring and sustainability to higher air performance (175 -1,160 m3/h).

  • Hose-proof hood Carbon steel: The Rittal water-resistant fan shroud fits many indoor and outdoor applications. This painted shroud meets UL Type 3R and Type 4 ratings (model 3237 Type 12, 3R only) for protection from large debris, as well as wind-driven rain and hose-directed water. The blue silicone gasket follows Rittal's innovative legacy in the Food & Beverage industry, leading to better sanitation and cleaning.

  • Hose-proof hood Stainless steel: The Rittal stainless steel fan shroud is engineered for rugged indoor and outdoor use. Its durable finish carries UL Type 3R and 4X certifications (model 3237 Type 12, 3R only) to guard against large debris, heavy rain, hose-directed water sprays, and corrosion. A blue silicone gasket - rooted in Rittal's Food & Beverage expertise - ensures superior hygiene and simplifies washdown cleaning.

  • Wall-mounted air conditioner Blue e + Outdoor 5118.21 -17060.71 BTU/h: Energy-efficient wall-mounted cooling units Blue e+ Outdoor in the power classes 5118.21 to 17060.71 BTU/h. They offer optimum protection for demanding environments thanks to the high protection category of IP56 / UL Type 12/3R/4 and the temperature range of -30 °C to 60 °C. The cooling unit can be mounted in three mounting types (surface mounting, partially internal installation and fully internal installation), for example on Toptec project solutions.

  • TopTherm Blue e Wall-Mounted Cooling Unit, UL Type 3R/4 1706.07 - 8530.36 BTU/h: Energy-efficient Blue e wall-mounted cooling units in output categories1706.07 - 8530.36 BTU/h with e-Comfort controller and electrical condensate evaporation integrated as standard (from 3412.14 BTU/h), protection class UL Type 3R/4, 12.

  • Enclosure Heater without fan (Continuous thermal output 10 - 150 W.) and Enclosure Heater with fan (Continuous thermal output 235 - 800 W.): Enclosure heaters to regulate relative humidity, prevent temperatures from dropping below the dew point and stop condensation forming inside the enclosure. This prevents consequential damage associated with corrosion or electrical short circuits.

  • Direct Air Cooling (DAC) Systems for multifunction housing: Direct Air Cooler roof structure for installation in a multifunctional housing (MFG). The product is ideally suited to compensate very efficiently for high power losses at low delta T in the MFG. By using a highly effective folder filer, ambient air is filtered and fed into the MFG, and the warm internal air can escape via a non-return valve. The DAC is completely integrated in the roof of the MFG housing and thus is protected from vandalism.


Climate Control Accessories

Perfectly coordinated components allow the user to customize the climate control components to their specific requirements. The efficiency and reliability of climate control components can be additionally enhanced with monitoring, control and individual air routing.

  • Filter Systems: If the air has elevated levels of dust contamination, it is advisable to use filter mats to extend the service life of the fan-and-filter unit and guarantee the protection category. Metal filters are particularly recommended in environments with oily ambient air.

  • Ventilation: Systems for targeted air routing and diversion in all areas of the enclosure. Cold air can be routed directly to precise areas of the enclosure using the air duct system. This eliminates the risk of air short circuits due to self-ventilated installed devices.

  • Water Distribution: For discharging and transporting condensate, and for professional relocation of water connections and regulation of volumetric flow.

  • Control/Regulation: To boost efficiency and for optimal control (e.g. to reduce noise and save energy) of climate control solutions.

  • Mounting Accessories: Accessories for achieving the protection category, and for making climate control products more user-friendly and easier to install.
