SM 1226



With the new fail-safe S7-1200 G2 signal module SM 1226 F-DI 4x / F-DQ 2x 2A PPM / DI 2x, 24VDC - 6ES7226-6ME50-0XB0, SIEMENS opens up the entry into functional safety for its users in the new SIMIATIC controller generation S7-1200 G2. The module is available for delivery immediately and is therefore ready for use in a project.


The SM 1226 sets new standards and enables a significantly more compact design than was possible in the previous SIMATIC S7-1200 version. The space requirement on the DIN rail is reduced by almost 60% to 30mm when comparing module widths. By combining F-DI and F-DQ in the SM 1226, a reduction in space requirement of up to 80% compared to the SIMATIC S7-1200 could even be achieved.
